This Year Marks The 40th Year Of Flight For The Iconic Bomber After Rescue In The 1970s
The year 2014 marks the 40th year of flight with the Commemorative Air Force’s (CAF) iconic B-29 Superfortress, FIFI; queen of the CAF fleet. The airplane, rescued and restored by the CAF in the early 1970s, has been a regular feature at airports and airshows all across the country.
