Cuts Total Acquisition To 122 Aircraft Through 2015
Defense Secretary Robert Gates will slow down the F-35 program
due to budget constraints, trimming Pentagon acquisition of the
Joint Strike Fighter to just 10 in 2011, and no more than 122
though 2015.

Navigation Pods
Lockheed Martin has signed a foreign military sales contract to
deliver Sniper Advanced Targeting Pods (ATPs) and LANTIRN Enhanced
Resolution (ER) navigation pods to the Turkish Air Force.
Pratt & Whitney has delivered its final Conventional Take
Off and Landing/Carrier Variant (CTOL/CV) F135 flight test engine
to the F-35 Joint Program Office, completing another step as the
program transitions from System Development and Demonstration to
production.
