Says Company Was Incorrectly Named In AD As Manufacturer Of The Cylinders
Continental Motors Group issued a statement saying it was incorrectly named as the manufacturer of the cylinders referenced in the Federal Aviation Administration Airworthiness Directive, AD 2016-16-12. Continental Motors wishes to make it clear that the cylinders covered by this AD were not produced by Continental Motors Group or any of its affiliates.
Solo Trip To And From Oshkosh Was Exciting And Educational
While the voyage to AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin is most commonly talked about in aviation circles, the trip home is equally trying. As a student pilot taking a Piper Cub across the country, I found that the trip home to Western Washington was made difficult due to headwinds, mechanical difficulties, and fatigue from the week.
Cutter Aviation held a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday for its new FBO Executive Terminal at Colorado Springs Airport (KCOS). On hand for the groundbreaking were invited guests, airport officials and media. University Of North Dakota Student Receives The $1,000 Award
A student attending the University of North Dakota has been selected to receive the first Henry Ogrodzinski (“Henry O”) Scholarship Award established by the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO). The $1,000 scholarship will be presented later this month to Jordan Aritt of Minnesota.
Must Serve Five Years Probation, Surrender Pilot Certificate
A pilot who had been charged with operating and aircraft under the influence in Florida has been sentenced to five years probation and must surrender his pilot certificate.
