75th Anniversary Of Will Rogers- Wiley Post Crash Marked With Fly-Over

Both Were Lost In An Alaska Plane Crash In 1935

Three states held a commemorative moment marking the 75th anniversary of the crash that took the lives of Will Rogers and Wiley Post on August 15th 1935. In Oklahoma, the event took place at the Will Rogers birthplace ranch near Claremore, where was marked with a fly-over.

Busy Weekend For Key West Coast Guard

Two Aircraft Down In The Florida Keys, Both Pilots Survive

The 7th District of the U.S. Coast Guard responded to two airplanes down in the Florda Keys in separate incidents this weekend. Fortunately, both pilots survived their accidents, though one was transported to a Miami hospital.
