VirtualFly Reinforces American Position with JA Flight Training

Midwest Dealer Procures 4th AATD in Grand Caravan Flavor

Virtual Fly has reinforced its relationship with its Midwest dealer, JA Flight Training, with the sale of the company’s 4th simulator bound to their showroom at Aurora Municipal Airport. The new equipment models a Cessna Grand Caravan for their new AATD, joining the outfit’s current collection of static and full motion simulators. Virtual Fly has made its bones with smaller, more accessible aircraft simulators to provide smaller operators with the same safety training standards enjoyed by large operators.

ARRL Seeks Growth, Leverages Internet For Communication

The American Radio Relay League (ARRL), founded in 1914 has recently grown to approximately 800,000 operators in the United States, and approximately 3 million world-wide, each licensed by their own government. However, not all are members of the ARRL. Mr. Paul Hughes (W9CBJ), a volunteer with the ARRL began by stating that he has been involved with Amateur Radio since he was a child and was intrigued by the idea of being able to hear transmissions from New York, Texas, and Florida from his Chicago neighborhood during the night, but not so much during the day.

Airplane Impacted An Area Of Tundra And Rock-Covered Terrain In A Near Vertical Attitude

On July 11, 2022, about 1730 Alaska standard time, a Champion 7EC airplane, N4340C was destroyed when it was involved in an accident about 20 miles Northeast of Valdez, Alaska. The student pilot was fatally injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. The pilot had departed from the Valdez Airport (VDZ), Valdez, and was returning to a private airstrip in Sutton, Alaska. When the airplane did not arrive in Sutton, family and friends of the missing pilot reported the airplane overdue.
