The FAA will award $185.1 million in airport infrastructure grants to 107 airports in 40 states across the United States as part of the FAA’s Airport Improvement Program (AIP). The airport grant program funds various types of airport infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, and airport signage, lighting, and markings which helps to create thousands of jobs.

Wipaire is doubling down on the FAA’s $500 ADS-B rebate for piston aircraft owners to make ADS-B equipage more affordable. Wipaire’s additional $500 rebate, which can be paired with the FAA program for a total of $1,000, is available to U.S.-registered single-engine piston fixed-wing manned airplanes registered before January 1, 2016.
