Hawker Beechcraft Executes $1.79 Billion Exclusivity Agreement With Chinese Firm

Enters Into 'Strategic Combination' With Superior Aviation Of Beijing

Hawker Beechcraft announced Monday that it has executed an exclusivity agreement with Superior Aviation Beijing Co., Ltd. (Superior), a Beijing-based aerospace manufacturer, regarding what it is calling a "strategic combination." Should the transaction be completed, Superior intends to maintain Hawker Beechcraft’s existing operations while also investing substantial capital in the company and its business and general aviation product line, saving thousands of American jobs, including in Wichita, KS, and Little Rock, AK.

Two West Windsor Officers Used Training Program For Helicopter Instruction

Two police officers in the township of West Windsor, NJ, are asking to be paid back for some expensive flying lessons through a police training reimbursement program, even though the township owns no aircraft and the training is not relevant to the officers' jobs.
