For the second time this year, the Grant-Valkaria Town Council
is attempting to restrict aviation activities at Grant-Valkaria
airport, including the end of all flight instruction. The move
comes despite the fact that they apparently have no jurisdiction to
make such a move.
There are less than 250 tickets remaining for the restored
Luscombe T8F WIN ME airplane. The T8F Luscombe is a rare airplane
with fewer than 100 originally built, and rarely more than a dozen
licensed and flying at any given time.
The National Transportation Safety Board has announced that it
will begin placing all investigation public dockets to the NTSB
public website beginning June 1, 2009, in accordance with the NTSB
Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Improvement Plan.
