The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has
received an FAA grant to begin work on the Long-Term Air
Transportation Study (LATS). Authorized by the Legislature, LATS is
a three-year comprehensive airport system study to guide future
investments in Washington’s public use airports.
There is a conflict in the law concerning the liability of
co-owners of aircraft for operational negligence. The question of
liability of one co-owner for the negligence of another depends on
the state law that applies to the situation. The situation can
arise where one co-owner is in operational control of the aircraft
and commits an act of negligence, causing damages...

has announced new course offerings related to their
Professional Education Series. This summer, HAI will be taking
three of their courses “on the road” to Ontario,
California, beginning July 11, 2006.
