With all the hub-bub about exhorbitant fuel prices, Cirrus
Design's thriftier SR20 is getting LOTS of second looks form pilots
who KNOW that the fuel price problem is not likely to go away any
time soon. The advent of a much upgraded version of the SR20... a
"Third generation" bird is even more reason to get excited about
the "bird that started the revolution."
If you got your money's worth during ground school, your
instructor gave at least passing mention to the need to dress for
conditions where you're planning to fly. Alaskan bush pilots
wouldn't dream of taking off wearing shorts and flip-flops... but
you see plenty of recreational fliers do just that, even in
uncomfortably cool weather.
