Thousands of dollars in scholarships will be awarded at WAI's upcoming 32nd Annual International Women in Aviation Conference, and WAI says the time to apply is now. To qualify for a scholarship, the applicant must be a current WAI member by November 1 and submit their application by November 10, 2020. 82 individual scholarships, worth nearly $400,000 are available in areas ranging from aerospace to engineering, from maintenance, dispatcher, to flight training. Numerous career enhancement and type ratings are available. As in past years, scholarships are not just for young people or students. On October 4, 2020, about 1150 mountain daylight time, a Cessna 210 airplane, N9568X, was destroyed when it was involved in an accident near Cedaredge, Colorado.
