A two-year agreement to provide flight tracking and situational
awareness systems for flight training programs at Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University's Daytona Beach, FL, and Prescott, AZ,
campuses has been signed by the school and ITT Corporation.
Wants To Fly Aircraft Locally As Part Of Aviation
Curriculum
Sinclair Community College in Dayton, OH, has asked the FAA for
permission to fly UAVs at the Springfield, OH, Air National Guard
base in order to facilitate a training program for controllers.
Following the Pilot Training Reform Symposium in Atlanta last
May, SAFE issued a 35-page preliminary report to government and
industry stakeholders with a request for action. Recipients were
given 90 days to respond to the six projects distilled from two
days of intense work by more than 150 symposium attendees.

with a prediction that the return of a robust general aviation
marketplace will not be a quick one. FI predicts we have two years
of slow growth ahead worldwide, followed by an uptick starting in
2013.
