Aero Linx: The Antique Airplane Association, Inc. The Antique Airplane Association, Inc. was first formed in August of 1953 by a few persons with a deep interest in old airplanes. At that time no other association existed that had a specific interest in antique and classic airplanes. No aviation historical groups had yet been formed.
