Back-Taxi
A term used by air traffic controllers to taxi an aircraft on
the runway opposite to the traffic flow. The aircraft may be
instructed to back-taxi to the beginning of the runway or at some
point before reaching the runway end for the purpose of departure
or to exit the runway.
Aero-Linx: Lee Bottom
Fly-In
The Annual Lee Bottom Fly-In is this coming week, and it
behooves us to note that this is one of ANN's favorite events of
the year. The Lee Bottom Flying Field is home to the regions
favorite antique & classic fly-in. Called "Wood, Fabric, &
Tailwheels", the name says it all. With models like Staggerwing,
Great Lakes, Stearman, Swallow, and Tiger Moths the line up is sure
to please every enthusiast. Held the last Saturday of every
September, the event is open to everyone.

Japan in the decision to utilize the International Space Station
for 10 more years and beyond, we are preparing the next steps
and we are working to position Europe at the level of its
competences and capabilities within the global exploration
undertaking."
