Estimate 3.1 Million Came To 50th Annual Air & Water

Hey, maybe they all came out to see
Bill Murray's parachute jump. Attendance
figures cited by the city of Chicago for last weekend's 50th Annual
Chicago Air & Water Show invited skepticism, and called
attention to the imperfect (cough) science of gauging crowd
attendance at air shows and other large public events.
A Science Teacher And State of Kentucky Team Up To Promote
Aviation Education

Thomas Wathen Foundation to extol the virtues
of flight to students. Our next story is about the role of a
teacher (with great networking skills) as a champion for aviation
education.
The European Airshow Council consists of a group of like-minded
people that meet annually and understand that everyone involved in
Airshows should be striving to achieve standards of excellence in
their activities.
