Airline Founder & CEO To Be Honored For Outstanding Contributions To Canadian Innovation

On May 16, 2019, Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame honored five individuals for their contribution to Canadian aviation. Greg McDougall, founder and CEO of the Harbour Air Group and Harbour Air Seaplanes, will be one of two B.C.-based industry leaders was inducted as Members of the Hall of Fame.

Horten Aircraft plans to bring its HX-2 flying wing prototype to AirVenture this summer. HORTEN Aircraft GmbH was founded at the end of 2015 by Sven Lindig, Bernhard Mattlener and Hans Heinen. Meanwhile, Flight Design general aviation and Rotorvox are also part of the aviation brand LIFT Air with headquarters located at the Eisenach-Kindel airfield (EDGE). The name "HORTEN Aircraft GmbH" honors the visionary aircraft designer Dr. Ing. Reimar Horten (1915-1994), who is widely regarded as a pioneer in the field
