Airborne 04.17.17: Diamond DA50-V!, Detroit v Airport, Phantom 4 Advanced

A long time in the works, Diamond's new DA50-V made its public debut at AERO Friedrichshafen 2017 just two weeks after its maiden flight. The all carbon fiber DA50-V is powered by a 260hp jet fuel engine from SAFRAN/SMA burning 6.8 gallons per hour at 50% with a maximum operating altitude of 20,000 ft.
