flying and fighting. These un-sung heroes worked day and night
repairing flak damage received over France and Germany. They loaded
bombs and 50 cal. ammunition so the airmen would have a chance to
sally forth on many combat missions. Always looking for "their"
bomber to return successfully from a mission.
A commercial electron bombardment thruster (also known as an
electrostatic ion thruster) - a form ion propulsion - that is a
product of Hughes Space and Communications Company, which, in 2000,
became part of Boeing Satellite Systems. XIPS (pronounced "zips")
employs the heavy inert gas xenon as a propellant.
"The first thing we want them to do is look at the four
corners of the accident; we want them to take the time to really
look at the accident. At this point we want them to determine how
the plane crashed, not necessarily why it crashed."

Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ. Students from
