"It's at times like this that you get
the real sense of community that we pilots are privileged to belong
to."
Source: Wyn Lewis, a member
of the Cirrus Pilot's Association, praising the flight
crew of an Air Canada Jazz Dash-8, who circled the
accident site of a Cirrus SR20 that had used an emergency parachute
to save the aircraft from significant peril over the Monashee
Mountains in Alberta, Canada. Four lives were saved that night
and the assistance of the Jazz crew got helicopter help to the
Cirrus within just a few hours.
