Source: Melissa Rudinger, AOPA vice president of regulatory affairs, on the ongoing battle over the government's use of TFRs to "wall off" airspace from general aviation traffic to allow UAVs a safe zone of operations. Although one such TFR along the US-Mexico border has since been scaled back by nearly 50 percent, AOPA maintains such TFRs aren't "temporary" enough.
