Embraer Executive Jets introduced the Lineage 1000E executive jet at the N-B-double-A convention this week. The ultra-large 1000E will be Embraer’s largest executive jet, with the capacity to carry up to 19 passengers in five cabin zones. Syberjet is moving forward with production of the SJ30, an airplane that is based on the Swearingen business jet design. The SJ30 is the only light business jet to be able to fly a twenty-five-hundred nautical mile mission at .83-mach and 49000 feet, according to company president Chuck Taylor. "The vehicle successfully released from its carrier aircraft, an Erickson Air-Crane helicopter, as planned at approximately 11:10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. Following release, the Dream Chaser spacecraft automated flight control system gently steered the vehicle to its intended glide slope. The vehicle adhered to the design flight trajectory throughout the flight profile. Less than a minute later, Dream Chaser smoothly flared and touched down on Edwards Air Force Base’s Runway 22L right on centerline.
