Recipient To Be Honored At Annual Meeting And Convention
The NBAA Wednesday announced plans to issue a new award, the
John H. Winant Award, in memory of the legendary NBAA leader and in
recognition of members of NBAA's Board of Directors whose service
to the business aviation community extends well beyond their tenure
on the Association's Board.
Long Beach Facility Approved For Airframe, Engine, And APU
Work
Gulfstream Aerospace recently received approval from the FAA to
perform engine and Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) maintenance on
Gulfstream G150 aircraft at its facility in Long Beach, CA.
It was previously approved by the FAA to perform airframe
maintenance.
Cobham Avionics in Mineral Wells, TX has been authorized by the
FAA as an Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) entity for
Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) projects. As part of ODA, the
FAA delegates an organization the authority to perform its own
certification activities under FAA oversight.
