The ultra-long-range Gulfstream G550 has set another city-pair
speed record – this time between Newark, NJ, and Tel Aviv,
Israel. The G550 flew the 5,031-nautical-mile route in 9 hours and
52 minutes, thereby establishing its 15 th city-pair speed record
since it first entered service nearly two years ago.
Chelton Flight Systems has been selected by Bell Helicopter to
provide the glass cockpit system - Chelton's EFIS - for its 407
light single engine helicopter. The contract has a potential value
in excess of US$100m.
