Pilot-Mechanic Cleared Of Wrongdoing In Air East Lear

This sort of thing just doesn't happen very often. Last week.
NTSB Law Judge William R. Mullins reversed an Emergency Order of
Revocation issued by the FAA against Michael Tarascio, owner and
former Chief Pilot of Air East Management, a charter carrier based
in Long Island (NY). The FAA wanted to pull Tarascio's Airline
Transport Pilot and Airframe & Powerplant mechanic
certificates.
Deadline Approaching On HAI "Salute To Excellence"
Nominations
The Helicopter Association International (HAI) is issuing its
final call for "Salute to Excellence" award nominations. The
deadline for all nomination submissions is October 13th.
Metalcraft Technologies and American Utilicraft have joined up
in an agreement where Metalcraft will manufacture the fuselage and
empennage sub-assemblies for the Prototype, First Article and the
first 528 Production FF-1080 aircraft.
