SureFly Partners is about to announce that the FAA has approved use of the company’s  electronic-ignition solution on select four and six-cylinder Lycoming and Continental aircraft engines. The STC approval authorizes installation of two SureFly Ignition Modules (“SIMs”) per-engine on a broad cross-section of aircraft piston engines. On the cusp of Oshkosh 2023, the FAA is still saddled with temporary leadership... and not all that expert, aviation-wise, to boot -- but then again, we’ve been there before.
