Cicaré USA’s Cicaré 8 helicopter has achieved certification under the LTF-ULH regulations for ultralight helicopters (under 1320-pounds maximum take-off weight). The helicopter is the first to be certified under the new weight class. Daher has delivered a unique Kodiak-100 to the North Carolina Forest Service’s Aviation Division (NCFSAD). By taking delivery of the high-wing, single-turboprop-engine utility airplane, the NCFSAD earned the distinction of being the world’s first operator of a Kodiak-100 equipped with a composite five-blade propeller. Gulfstream Aerospace announced that its second Gulfstream G800 flight-test aircraft had successfully ventured aloft. The G800 departed the company’s home digs on Georgia’s Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) at 09:27 EDT on the morning of Saturday, 15 July. During the three-hour, 26-minute test-flight, the aircraft attained a top-speed of Mach 0.935 (623.4-knots).
