Epic Aircraft, manufacturer of high performance, all carbon fiber, single-engine turboprop aircraft, has successfully launched its inaugural Epic Odyssey World Tour, an around-the-world journey traversing nine countries and 20 cities in 21 days, covering 15,000 nautical miles in 50 flight hours.

In the presence of Transport Minister, Robert Goodwill MP, Airbus Helicopters recently handed over the second and final H145 to Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA). The aircraft, which will go through a completion process at Airbus Helicopters’ Civil Helicopter Hub at Oxford Airport, will be fitted with a state of the art Bucher medical interior specifically tailored to YAA’s requirements.
Unmanned Solar-Powered Aircraft Would Relay Internet Connectivity To Underserved Regions
The Facebook Connectivity Lab has reached a major milestone with the first full-scale test flight of Aquila, an unmanned solar-powered airplane that the company hopes will eventually bring affordable internet to hundreds of millions of people in the hardest-to-reach places.
The National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) will conduct a forum on UAS and the States during EAA’s 2016 AirVenture which runs next week beginning on Monday, July 25th.
