A group of airport tenants has been joined by at least two national aviation associations in filing a complaint with the FAA concerning California’s embattled Santa Monica Airport. The complaint, formally filed on July 2 requests that the FAA clarify that the airport must continue to abide by its FAA grant assurances through August 2023, to ensure vital aviation services and facilities remain intact. Boeing confirmed that the new 787-9 Dreamliner and the P-8A Poseidon will participate for the first time in flying displays at the Farnborough International Airshow, which runs July 14 through the 20th. U.K. Flight School Offers Helicopter Scholarships

Five Grants Of £100,000 To Be Awarded This Summer

Helicentre Aviation Academy has announced that it will award a number of helicopter pilot training scholarships during 2015. So far, the company has awarded four training scholarships and will be awarding five more - totalling around £100,000 (approx $171,500 US) - this summer. By 2015 it will have provided fifteen scholarships in total.
