Enables Digital Interface With Garmin GNS 400W/500W
Sandel Avionics tells Aero-News an upgrade will soon be
available for its SN3308 EHSI that enables the display of GPS
vertical guidance from Garmin GNS 400W/500W series receivers
through the existing digital interface. This will allow current
owners of the SN3308 to take advantage of the upgraded capabilities
of the Garmin receivers without the cost of additional wiring.
Hawker Beechcraft Corporation announced this week the
appointment of David Bernstorf as vice president of Safety and
Certification. His responsibilities include Safety Management,
Certification and Regulatory Compliance.
Pan-European private airline JetBird announced this week it has
begun placing firm orders against its 50 Embraer Phenom 100 option
aircraft. JetBird has confirmed its first three option aircraft,
which brings its current fleet plans to 53. This marks the first
step towards expanding the JetBird fleet to 100 Phenom aircraft by
the end of 2013.
