Beijing 999 Emergency Rescue Center, a subsidiary of Beijing Red Cross Foundation, has signed an agreement with Airbus Helicopters for the purchase of one H145, the first of its kind to be configured with a hoist for medical and search and rescue (SAR) in China. The rotorcraft is scheduled for delivery by 2019.

Astronics Corporation, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Astronics Max-Viz, has certified its 2300 Enhanced Vision System (EVS) to the DO-160G standard. Blending infrared and visible light sensors, the Max-Viz 2300 EVS displays real-time heat sources along with LED airport lighting to make it safer for pilots to land in dark, challenging conditions.
The Valmie Resources team headed to Nevada this week where it conducted a successful test flight of one of the five commercial base units the company purchased from ALTI UAS. The test flight was held in conjunction with Praxis Aerospace Concepts (PACI).
