Airborne 05.16.14: FAA Eases ADS-B Chores, UAS Commercial Ops, Unmanned Black Hawks

The FAA’s Flight Standards Service has created, a new and more efficient operations authorization procedure for U.S.-registered aircraft to comply with early ADS-B directives mandated by other countries. The new approval process is expected to be available to operators at the end of June this year.
