They're gonna do it. Eclipse Aviation announced Friday at the company's 10th Anniversary "E-rrival" owners gathering the single-engine Eclipse Concept Jet will be brought to market... and, those customers will have the first shot at reserving their own jets.

That news was tempered somewhat, however, by the disappointing -- though not entirely unexpected -- announcement the pricetag for an Eclipse 500 has crested the $2 million mark.

Operators May Receive Up To $10,000 In Trade With Simphone Purchase

Even the most well-heeled bizjet operators are looking for deals in these trying economic times... and here's one they may jump on. TrueNorth Avionics has announced a "trade-up" program for aircraft operators, offering a bonus of up to $10,000 off the purchase of a qualifying Simphone airborne telecommunications system with the trade of their current MagnaStar, AirCell, Flitefone or other airborne telephone system.

Bombardier announced Thursday its facility in Queretaro, Mexico will manufacture the composite structure for the upcoming Learjet 85 business jet. The Queretaro site will also manufacture the electrical harness and perform sub-assembly systems installation.
