North Carolina Drone Company Launches Real Time Video Streaming System

Introduced At The 2019 Smart Cities Connect Conference & Expo In Denver

Triangle UAS LLC, a provider of unmanned aircraft system services and technology, has launched a drone-mounted real-time video streaming system to enhance situational awareness during disaster/accident response, search & rescue, and law enforcement events. Unveiled recently at the 2019 Smart Cities Connect Conference & Expo in Denver, the new streaming solution from North Carolina-based Triangle UAS, will offer first responders, public safety officials, and smart cities a cost-effective, easy-to-use method of providing real-time video streaming from an aerial drone to remote operators or an emergency operations center via a secure Internet connection.

Drones Are Flying On Miami Of Ohio Campus

University Making Effort To Increase Efficiency For Building Inspections

Drones have been hovering near buildings on the Miami of Ohio campus recently inspecting the roofs and gutters of those structures. The school's Lean project looked at how drones could be used on campus to increase efficiency, and one idea was to use them for visual inspections of roofs, gutters, chimneys and cupolas. Normally a lift is used to enable employees and contractors to do inspections and repairs.
