Bell Says Bell 429 a Hit in Africa

With 2 Deliveries and 1 Sale, the 429 Inches its Way to (Eventual?) Market Dominance

Bell's PR department was quick to crow about their increasing level of interest in the Bell 429 in africa, thanks to the recent sale of one, and delivery of 2 aircraft to the region. While the sales are nice, a single new sale may not be quite the measure of success to claim the continent just yet - but the Bell 429 is a fine aircraft either way.

LIFT Completes First Crewed eVTOL Flights in Japan

Piloted HEXA Aircraft Demo Will Complete Tour Throughout Country

Lift's Hexa aircraft made a notable demo for the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB), obtaining approval for additional demonstrations. The company completed Phase 1 flight testing and initial envelope development with the USAF, moving onward to Alpha Flights to allow persons outside the company to fly the prototype Hexa. Demonstrations were held on a field within sight of the Osaka Castle, with Masatoshi Kumagai of GMO Internet Group taking up the helm for a few flights in the pattern after a brief introduction to the aircraft.
