Sikorsky Helitech Becomes 1st Authorized S-92 Customer Support Center

Will Operate From Headquarters In Brisbane, Australia

Sikorsky Helitech has become the first Sikorsky-authorized S-92 helicopter Customer Support Center in the world, the company announced Tuesday at the Avalong Air Show. The Customer Support Center will operate out of Sikorsky Helitech in Brisbane, Australia, and will offer maintenance services for Australian and regional operators of S-92 aircraft.

Two Of Four Aircraft On Order Delivered During Avalon Airshow

Sikorsky has delivered two S-92 helicopters to Bond Helicopters Australia at the 2015 Avalon Airshow. Bond Helicopters Australia will operate a total of four S-92 helicopters, the first of its kind in this Australian fleet.

Aircraft Will Aid In Geological Survey And Mineral Exploration

The Saudi Geological Survey has entered into a purchase agreement with Bell Helicopter for a Bell 429 outfitted to perform utility roles in the Middle East. The company will use the aircraft to support geological mapping, mineral exploration and many other sustainable management activities.
