Eurocopter booked 68 new orders and agreements during Heli-Expo
2011, while also unveiling a range of new and enhanced
helicopter products, confirming the company’s highly
competitive position for the expected upturn in the world’s
rotary-wing aircraft sector.
With the AEA convention in Reno peeking over the horizon, new
analysis from Frost & Sullivan finds that the commercial
avionics market earned revenues of $6.67 billion in 2009, and
estimates this to reach $8.64 billion in 2014.
Eclipse's Mason Holland Comments And Asserts That Fix Is
Already Underway
The establishment of an AD on the Eclipse for a known problem
with high-altitude operations appears to have been undertaken even
though the problem is both known as well as in the process of being
fixed. ANN checked with Eclipse Boss Mason Holland and got his
input after the rumor of the pending AD leaked out -- an AD, that
we're told was also opposed by Pratt & Whitney and Transport
Canada.
