Eurocopter says it had a highly successful 2012 Heli-Expo
exposition, marking 20 years of helicopter excellence announcing
orders and commitments for 191 rotary-wing aircraft, as well as
spotlighting the latest innovation in production, safety and
services. The high point of Eurocopter’s activity at
Heli-Expo – the world’s largest helicopter industry
event – was its rollout of the new EC130 T2, which features
enhanced comfort, improved operational performance and increased
versatility.
Company Says Aircraft Surpassing All Performance
Expectations
Gulfstream’s G280 aircraft is steadily moving toward
entry-into-service, having completed several flight-test milestones
en route to type certification later this year from the FAA. The
aircraft received a provisional type certificate (PTC) from the
Civil Aviation Authority of Israel on December 29, 2011. A PTC from
the FAA will follow. The aircraft is slated to enter service
mid-year.
Embraer recently delivered the 300th Phenom jet, capping off the
latest series of milestones which includes the assembly and first
flight of the initial aircraft from the Company’s year-old
Melbourne facility in Florida.
