Bolen: DOT Will Allow Comments Before Imposing Limitations
NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen issued a statement Tuesday to
update Association Members on the status of NBAA's work to address
concerns from Department of Transportation (DOT) officials
regarding the Block Aircraft Registration Request (BARR)
program.

The NBAA released a statement welcoming action by the
House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, which on
Wednesday passed and sent to the Committee on Ways and Means a
four-year FAA reauthorization measure, continuing the progress made
on modernizing the nation's aviation system.
Misassembled Fuel System Componant Could Cause In-Flight
Shutdown
The FAA has issued an emergency AD for Turbomeca engines after
three reports of incorrectly assembled low-pressure fuel system
ejectors, with one of them resulting in an uncommanded engine
in-flight shutdown.
