Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT) and the Academy of the HEMS operator DRF Luftrettung will present their new pilot training and further training program at the HAI Heli-Expo from January 28 to 30, 2020 in Anaheim, California. Beginning in August 2020, a state-of-the-art full flight simulator level D will be available at Lufthansa Aviation Training’s training center in Frankfurt. The simulator is configurable both for the Airbus-helicopter types H135 and H145 and certified by EASA.

The NTSB has released a final report from an accident which occurred On August 4, 2018 involving a de Havilland DHC-2 airplane that went down during a sightseeing flight over Denali National Park and Preserve. Five people were fatally injured in the accident.
