CHC Announces Partnership For Scholarships

Will Work With Art Williams And Harry Wendt Aeronautical Engineering School To Provide Scholarship Support And Other Resources To Invest In Local Aviation Training

  CHC Helicopter and the Art Williams and Harry Wendt Aeronautical Engineering School have announced the beginning of a local partnership in Guyana that will include four scholarships for deserving students to continue to pursue their Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence as well as the provision of additional educational resources, such as time-expired helicopter parts and airframes, in the future. The partnership may also be expanded to include instruction from CHC engineers as well as internships and future placement opportunities for graduates of the school.

Organizers Say Event Exceeded Expectations

The AfBAC EXPO, Africa’s first three-day event dedicated to business aviation and RPAS, exceeded organizer’s expectations with just under 1000 delegates registering to attend the event held in Johannesburg, November 29 to December 1.
