Hopes To Inspire Village Students To Pursue Careers In Aviation
A newly-founded flight training program focused on young people in rural Alaska has been set up by Tanalian Aviation, a small helicopter company in Anchorage and Port Alsworth, AK. The Tanalian Vertical Futures Program is designed to inspire local schoolchildren to complete their education, and perhaps set them on a course for a career in aviation.
Airbus AS350B3e Helo To Fly Statewide Law Enforcement Missions
The Texas Game Wardens have unveiled a new Airbus AS350B3e helicopter that will enhance the department’s statewide law enforcement apparatus and assist with its search and rescue and disaster response efforts.
A Robinson R22 helicopter went down Monday on a training flight near Lantana Airport in Florida's Palm Beach County. Officials confirm that one person was fatally injured, and one was transported to a local hospital.
