Stevens Aviation May Install Citation 550/S550 Engine
Retrofits
Clifford Development announced this week the appointment of
Stevens Aviation as an authorized installation center for the
company’s certified installations of Williams FJ44-3A engines
on the Cessna Citation 550 and the S550.
Bond Air Services of the United Kingdom recently ordered an
EC135 for maintenance work at the Greater Gabbard offshore wind
farm starting end of 2009. The EC135 will be used for maintenance
operations, including delivery of personnel and complex equipment
by winch at the Greater Gabbard wind farm located approximately 20
miles of the East Anglia Coast from end of 2009 onwards.
FAA Approval Expected Shortly For Business-Spec E-Jet
Variant
Embraer began December with news its smallest jet, the Phenom
100, had received its Brazilian -- and later, US -- certifications.
The company will end the month on the news its largest executive
jet, the Embraer 190-based Lineage 1000, has been awarded type
certification by Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency
(Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil - ANAC) and
the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), with FAA approval
expected soon.
