Clay Lacy Aviation Will Expand NE US Operations And Create 100 New Jobs In Connecticut

The Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA) has confirmed an expanded partnership with Clay Lacy Aviation involving a 30-year lease on 16 acres of land at Waterbury-Oxford Airport (KOXC) in Oxford, CT, which will expand Clay Lacy Aviation’s Northeast U.S. base of operations. Clay Lacy Aviation will invest $20M to build the new FBO, and maintenance, repair and overhaul facility, bringing 100 new jobs to Connecticut.

NTSB Prelim: Bell 206

He Heard A Loud Noise In The Tail And The Helicopter Yawed Clockwise

On October 21, 2020, about 1612 eastern daylight time, a Bell 206B, N716VL, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Point Lookout, New York. The pilot sustained minor injuries. The helicopter was operated as a Title 14, Code of Federal Regulations part 91 personal flight. The pilot stated that earlier that day he departed from Republic Airport (FRG), Farmingdale, New York en route to Sterling Heliport (PS01), Croydon, Pennsylvania, for scheduled maintenance. While en route he elected to return due to adverse weather and remained on the ramp waiting for it to improve.
