Cessna Receives FAA Production Certificate For Mustang

First Jet Delivered To CA Dealer For Use As Demo

Just in time for Thanksgiving, Cessna Aircraft Company delivered its first Citation Mustang business jet Wednesday, following receipt of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) production certificate (PC) for the aircraft's Independence, KS assembly line.

Raytheon's Hawker 4000 Finally Gets Its TC

Raytheon Aircraft has received the much-anticipated FAA Type Certificate for the Hawker 4000 super-midsize business jet. “The Hawker 4000 is the most advanced super-midsize jet in the world today,” said Jim Schuster, chairman and CEO of Raytheon Aircraft Company.

Celebrated Aircraft Engineer and Designer Ed Swearingen was inducted into the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame during ceremonies at The Lone Star Flight Museum in Galveston, Texas. The museum opened a permanent display dedicated to Mr. Swearingen as part of the ceremony. It contains photos, models, and other memorabilia from his career in aviation.
