The annual Corporate Angel Network (CAN) charity event at NBAA-BACE in Orlando raised nearly $300,000 for CAN’s mission to transport cancer patients to treatment centers. The Fund an Angel Cocktail Reception was held at the Hilton Orlando on October 17th, in conjunction with NBAA’s 2018 Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE).

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation recently announced FAA certification of its G500 equipped with BAE Systems’ active sticks. The achievement marks a milestone in the history of flight controls, as the world’s first certified civil active inceptor – an accomplishment that earned both BAE Systems and Gulfstream the 2017 Aviation Week Technology Laureate Award. Every G500 jet will be manufactured with BAE Systems’ active sticks installed.
