San Juan County, NM, is eyeing two parcels of land for the potential construction of helicopter landing zones near remote communities. The LZs would offer a convenient rendezvous and transfer point for patients being transported by ambulance to be placed aboard medevac helicopters.

ITC-Aerospace Inc. of Japan has placed an order for two AgustaWestland AW169 light intermediate helicopters. The aircraft will be leased to private operators. The contract was signed Tuesday in the presence of ITC-Aerospace Inc.’s President and CEO Tomoo Nakayama, during a ceremony held at Japan Aerospace 2012 in Nagoya.
Heli Air Monaco Adds EC120 To A Certifications Received Earlier This Year
Heli Air Monaco has received EASA certification for the installation of FreeFlight Systems RA-4000 Radar Altimeter in Eurocopter EC120 helicopters, adding to similar certifications for AS350, AS355 and EC130 helicopters received earlier this year.
