For First Time in Its History, NBAA Convention Sells Out in

The exhibit floor has completely sold out for the first time in
Convention history, with close to 1,150 Exhibitors registered and
5,233 10-foot by 10-foot booth spaces sold, an almost 9 percent
increase in booth spaces compared to the 2005 show.
The largest King Air model made has just landed at Jet Source
Charter, based at Polomar Airport near San Diego, CA, and will be
ready to fly clients by the end of October.
General aviation is under threat from a proposal by the
commercial airlines to shift $2 billion in costs to general
aviation and seize control over the nation's aviation system. The
airlines are looking to the FAA's reauthorization process
(scheduled for 2007) as an opportunity to overhaul the way the FAA
is funded and governed.
Recent sales to Airlift Northwest, Cook Children's Medical
Center/Teddy Bear Transport, and Life Lion underscore how Sky
Connect products "enhance the safety and effectiveness of emergency
medical missions while delivering reliable, affordable
performance," according to Wiley Loughran, the company's senior
vice president of sales and marketing.
