Airlines for America, the industry trade organization representing the leading US airlines, announced that member carriers have pledged to work with government leaders and other stakeholders to make 3 billion gallons of cost-competitive sustainable aviation fuel available to U.S. aircraft operators in 2030. Airlines for America pledged to work toward a rapid expansion to produce and distribute the sustainable aviation fuel in March.
