Flight Was Diverted Due To Weather To Airport With Few Services
American Airlines Flight 2352 from Los Angeles to Dallas/Fort Worth was diverted to Wichita Falls, TX Thursday night due to strong thunderstorms in the region.

Participants Announced For Tower Of Voices Dedication And 17th Annual Observance
President Donald Trump will deliver remarks during the observance ceremony on September 11 at Flight 93 National Memorial. Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke, who served as a US Navy SEAL in the Global War on Terror, will also speak at the ceremony. First Secretary of Homeland Security and 43rd Governor of Pennsylvania Tom Ridge will keynote the Tower of Voices Dedication on September 9. The ceremonies will honor the 40 passengers and crew members of Flight 93 on the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
Project's $24.8 Million Cost Funded Through A Unique Agreement
The FAA, Sarasota Manatee Airport Authority (SMAA), and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) have dedicated the new Air Traffic Control Tower at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (KSRQ). The 128 foot-tall tower is a significant investment in the nation’s airport infrastructure and enhances air traffic controllers’ ability to provide the safest, most efficient service to flights at the busy Florida airport, the FAA said in a news release.
