Airbus Reaches Milestone Number Of Aircraft Flying In North America

A321 Delivered To American Airlines Becomes 1,500th Airbus In Revenue Service On The Continent

The number of in-service Airbus commercial aircraft in North America reached a new high of 1,500 following the delivery of an A321 to American Airlines on Friday. The company delivered its first North American-operated aircraft to U.S.-based Eastern Airlines in 1977 and has gone on to tally more than 2,000 orders with 25 airline companies and lessors in the region.

Air Canada Provides Humanitarian Relief To Regions Affected By Irma

Delivering Essential Supplies Across The Caribbean And Florida

Air Canada continues to support relief efforts in areas affected by the passage of Hurricane Irma by dispatching a humanitarian flight with relief supplies on Saturday September 16, 2017. Since September 5, Air Canada has operated a total of 30 additional flights, as well as larger aircraft with more seats, to bring over 7,000 customers home early from the affected areas including Antigua, Cuba, Turks and Caicos, Haiti, Dominican Republic and Florida.
